Taurus Judge Public Defender – .410/.45 Colt

This Taurus Judge Public Defender is a good, no-nonsense revolver, chambered for both .410 bore and .45 Long Colt. It’s a handy size for concealed carry, or keeping in a truck for protection while you’re out checking fences. We see a lot of folks around Birmingham using these for snake protection too – the .410 shell will handle most anything you encounter in the field.

It’s got a polymer frame, which keeps the weight down, and the Taurus patented key lock for added security. Uses a standard spurred hammer. The 2.5” chamber will handle longer .410 shells if you need a bit more range. A lot of our customers around here pick this up for home defense, but it’s versatile enough for hunting small game too.
