This rifle’s got a few features you don’t usually see at this price. The dual cocking cams make the bolt easier to lift – that’s helpful if you’re shooting a lot, especially out at the range. The 20-inch barrel isn’t touching the stock, which keeps things consistent when the weather changes. Springfield says it’ll shoot 1 MOA at 50 yards with good ammo, and a lot of folks around here have confirmed that’s a pretty realistic claim.

Using the Ruger 10/22 mags is a big plus for us. Parts are easy to find, and there’s a whole market for those mags if you want something different. It’s a good choice for hunting squirrels or rabbits, target shooting with the family, or getting ready for a local rimfire competition.
