Serial Number 56-48642, 45 LC, 5″ custom replacement heavy barrel with an excellent bore. A beautifully crafted five-shot revolver by Gary Reeder with many features. The metal surfaces of this custom powerhouse retain 99% plus professionally applied black stain finish, the stainless steel surfaces of the grip frame and cylinder rate near excellent showing a moderate turn ring and scratches. The inflated cylinder is engraved with a crouching mountain lion on one side and the other a side profile of a catamount. The smooth unmarked black “Micarta” grips rate about very good to excellent showing scattered light scratches and scuffs. The gun includes a custom built five-shot unfluted cylinder, action work, fixed rear sight, dovetailed fiber optic front sight on a short ramp base, locking base pin, grip frame rounded at the heel and the butt has Mr. Reeder’s name and address. A great gun for the aficionado of fine custom revolvers or the adventurer who needs powerful “bear medicine”.
