Cal. 45-70. S# 144713. Bbl. 22″ half rnd. takedown. Short ramp front sight w/ dovetail blade sight. Dovetail adj. rear sight. Muzzle has gold band. At the transition to octagon to rnd., the octagon section has gold line inlayed. Receiver is boldly fully at scroll w/ gold inlay Indian on horse & 2 gold leafs surrounding teepees on side. Gold wire around loading gate on right. Inlayed buffalo on bottom. Side of lever engraved on both sides in gold open wing eagle inlayed on loop. Bottom receiver is marked “ENGRAVED BY RALPH O. ALPEN-80”. Checkered forend. Checkered pistol grip stock w/ Winchester hard rubber grip cap & buttplate. CONDITION: bbl. retains nearly its entire fine, custom blue. Receiver has clear, clean French gray. Forend has fine custom finish w/ good checkering. Buttstock has fine custom finish w/ good checkering. Bore is good w/ few scattered light pits.Â
