Near New Cal. 45 Colt. S# SA03396. Bbl. 7 1/2″. Full nickel finish w/ 2 piece walnut grips. Bbl. has bands of Indian markings w/ 4 buffalo on right side w/ inscription “NEZ PERCE – CHIEF JOSEPH / 1877 – 1997”. Left side of bbl. has Indian symbol w/ bear pulling a sled & inscription “I WILL FIGHT NO MORE FOREVER”. Right side of frame has howling wolf w/ edition No. “29 OF 75”. Left side of frame has Indian village scene. Both sides of hammer are adorned w/ arrowheads. 6 Shot rnd. cyl. w/ Chief Joseph portrait & Indian scene w/ inscription “BIG HOLE BASIN – Aug. 9, 1877 CAMAS MEADOWS – Aug. 20, 1877 / BEAR PAWS – Sept. 30, – Oct. 5, 1877”. Engraving on back of grip straps depicts a feathered lance. Bottom of grip strap has an arrow. Walnut presentation case w/ purple fitted interior containing key. Case has rectangular plate w/ portrait of Chief Joseph & Indian teepees above banner w/ inscription “NEW PERCE / EDITION / 1 OF 75”.
