Description
Browning BAR Grade IV in excellent condition. 1972 production, .30-06 caliber. Finish is excellent, with some residue from a previous scope installation but no scratches or rust. Mechanicals are excellent, and the rifle appears unfired or nearly so. Wood is excellent, with a few light bubbles in the finish on the left side of the comb but no dings, divots, or peeling. Engravings are excellent throughout, with bright gold inlay on the receiver. Checkering on the wrist and forestock is crisp and clean. Baroque floral embellishments are strong and attractive. This is a truly gorgeous rifle full of old-school Browning charm in superb condition and would make for a great centerpiece in a collection.
