About this product
The Wise Arms WA-15B .300 AAC Blackout 10.5-inch SBA3 is a compact semi-automatic platform built for tight urban spaces and serious self-defense work. Chambered in .300 Blackout, it runs both subsonic and supersonic loads without any tuning, and the 10.5-inch threaded barrel keeps the package short enough to maneuver in a hallway or a car. The ODG Cerakote finish resists corrosion and scuffs, and the billet aluminum receiver keeps weight down without sacrificing strength. For city dwellers who need a reliable, packable defensive tool that can handle a suppressor or a brake, this pistol delivers.

Key Features
- 10.5-inch Threaded Barrel — The barrel is threaded 5/8x24, so you can mount a suppressor or a muzzle device in seconds. That means you can run subsonic ammo with a can and keep the noise down in an indoor or apartment defense scenario.
- SBA3 Pistol Brace — Adjustable and compact, the SBA3 gives you a stable cheek weld without turning the platform into a rifle. You get better control for follow-up shots while staying legal as a pistol.
- 7-inch M-LOK Handguard — Attach a light, a laser, or a foregrip directly to the handguard without extra rail sections. In low-light urban environments, a weapon light is non-negotiable, and this setup makes it easy.
- ODG Cerakote Finish — The olive drab green Cerakote is more than looks: it resists rust, scratches, and wear from daily carry or storage in a humid apartment. No extra weight, no maintenance hassle.
- .300 AAC Blackout Chamber — Swap between subsonic (for suppressed shooting) and supersonic (for full-power defense loads) without changing any parts. That versatility is critical when you need one gun to do both jobs.
Who It's For
This pistol is for the city CCW holder who wants a compact, braced platform that can pull double duty as a home defense tool and a truck gun. It's also for apartment dwellers who need to keep noise and overpenetration in check — .300 Blackout subsonic rounds with a suppressor are a serious advantage in tight quarters. If you train in close-quarters ranges or shoot in indoor bays, the 10.5-inch barrel and SBA3 brace make it easy to move through doorways and around barriers.
Pros & Cons
- Pro: Suppressor-ready barrel out of the box — no gunsmith visit needed.
- Pro: Billet receiver is stiffer than forged, which can improve accuracy potential.
- Pro: M-LOK handguard keeps weight low and mounting options open.
- Con: The 10.5-inch barrel loses some velocity compared to 16-inch rifles — supersonic .300 Blackout rounds drop about 150-200 fps. Still effective at self-defense ranges, but not a long-range hunter.

FAQ
What accessories can I mount on the M-LOK handguard?
You can mount any M-LOK compatible accessory — weapon lights (like Streamlight or SureFire), vertical or angled foregrips, laser aiming modules, and rail sections for bipods or switches. The 7-inch handguard gives you about 5 inches of usable rail space after the barrel nut.
Can I use this pistol for home defense with subsonic ammo?
Yes. Subsonic .300 Blackout rounds are designed to stay below the speed of sound, so they cycle reliably in this 10.5-inch barrel. Pair them with a suppressor, and you get hearing-safe performance indoors — a huge advantage in an apartment or house where gunfire noise can disorient you.
Does the SBA3 brace require a tax stamp?
No. The SBA3 is a pistol brace, not a stock, so as long as you keep the barrel under 16 inches and the overall length compliant with your state laws, no NFA tax stamp is needed. Always check your local regulations before purchasing.
What is the effective range for this pistol?
With supersonic .300 Blackout, you can reliably hit man-sized targets out to 200 yards. Subsonic loads are effective to about 100 yards. The 10.5-inch barrel is optimized for CQB and home defense distances (0-50 yards), but it's capable beyond that with practice.
