The Special Edition “Black Tie” is an understated yet refined example based off the competition orientated Q5 Steel Frame. Several components such as the barrel, slide, steel frame and magazine base plate are Tenifer coated then polished for a superior hardness and corrosion resistance. The parts are then coated in Stinox for an upscale satin finish with outstanding wear resistance.
The addition of the Dynamik Performance Trigger enhances functionality, this dynamic match trigger offers reduced take up, trigger stop and reset. A flat faced alloy trigger shoe breaks at a glass-like 5.5 lbs. A one-piece wrap-around aluminum grip panel is machined from aluminum with 20 lines per inch of checkering then finished in a satin black. A machined steel magazine base plate offers a well balanced feel in the hand.
