Who It's For
This TISAS PX-9G3 DTY is built for budget-conscious shooters who want a full-size 9mm handgun with modern features like a rail and high capacity. It works for first-time buyers looking for a reliable range pistol, or for experienced owners adding a backup to their collection. The 4.11″ barrel and 20-round mag make it a solid choice for home defense or IDPA matches, where capacity and durability matter.
Pros / Cons
- Pros: Affordable price point at $333.46, reliable striker-fired design, 20-round capacity, Picatinny rail for accessories, and a comfortable grip texture.
- Cons: The trigger pull weight is around 6.5 pounds out of the box, which feels heavier than some competitors like the Glock 19. Aftermarket support is limited compared to major brands, so customization options are fewer. The finish on the slide may show holster wear faster than higher-end coatings.

FAQ
Is the TISAS PX-9G3 DTY compatible with Glock holsters?
Yes, the PX-9G3 DTY fits most Glock 19/17 holsters due to its similar dimensions and trigger guard profile. We recommend testing with your specific holster, but many users report a secure fit with standard Glock holsters from Safariland and Blackhawk.
What is the warranty on this handgun?
TISAS offers a limited lifetime warranty on the frame and slide against manufacturing defects. The barrel and springs are covered for one year. Contact TISAS directly for warranty claims.
Can I use +P ammunition in the PX-9G3 DTY?
Per TISAS specs, the PX-9G3 DTY is rated for +P 9mm ammunition, but sustained use of +P+ loads may accelerate wear on the recoil spring. For regular practice, stick with standard pressure loads to maximize part life.
Does this model come with a manual safety?
No, the PX-9G3 DTY does not include a manual safety. It relies on a trigger safety and striker block, similar to a Glock design. If you prefer a manual safety, check our other TISAS models with that feature.
What magazines are compatible with the PX-9G3 DTY?
The PX-9G3 DTY uses proprietary TISAS 20-round magazines, but it also accepts Glock 19/17 magazines with a slight modification to the magazine catch. For best reliability, use TISAS-branded magazines.
