Key Features
- Forged steel frame and slide — Why it matters: This gives you the same durability and heft as the original GI-issue 1911A1, with a 39-ounce weight that soaks up recoil and keeps the muzzle on target for fast follow-up shots.
- Parkerized finish — Why it matters: The matte, corrosion-resistant finish matches the WWII-era look and holds up to holster wear and field use without showing every scratch.
- Authentic GI-style sights — Why it matters: The small, fixed front and rear sights are true to the original design, giving you a clean sight picture that's perfect for range shooting and historical collection.
- 7-round magazine — Why it matters: The single-stack .45 ACP magazine keeps the grip slim and comfortable for most hand sizes, while still offering reliable feeding with standard-pressure ammo.
- Series 70-style firing system — Why it matters: No firing pin block means a lighter, crisper trigger pull right out of the box — a feature many 1911 shooters prefer for accuracy and feel.
Who It's For

It's a great fit for new gun owners looking for a first 1911, collectors wanting a budget-friendly WWII-style piece, and anyone who appreciates the classic design without paying premium prices. Pros and Cons
- Pros: Authentic GI styling and feel, forged steel construction, crisp trigger out of the box, affordable price point, compatible with most 1911 accessories.
- Cons: The GI-style sights are small and can be hard to pick up in low light — a common trade-off on retro 1911s. If you plan to use this for defensive carry, consider swapping for aftermarket sights.

FAQ
Is this TISAS 1911A1 US Army .45 ACP 5″ 7RD pistol a true replica of the original WWII 1911A1?
Yes — this model is built to the original US Army specifications, with a forged steel frame and slide, parkerized finish, and GI-style small sights. It's as close as you'll get to the service sidearm issued from 1911 through the 1980s, at a fraction of the cost of a vintage collectible.
What magazines does this tisas 1911a1 us army .45 acp 5 7rd pistol use?
It uses standard 1911 .45 ACP 7-round magazines. Most aftermarket 1911 mags from brands like Wilson Combat, Chip McCormick, and Mec-Gar will work, though some may require minor fitting for a perfect lock-up.
Can I use this for concealed carry?
While you can carry a full-size 1911, the 5-inch barrel and 39-ounce weight make it more suitable for range use, competition, or open carry. Many shooters prefer it as a home defense or range gun over a daily carry piece.
Does this pistol come with a manual safety?
Yes — it has the traditional 1911-style thumb safety on the left side of the frame, along with a grip safety. Both are standard on this model and function exactly like the originals.
