Who It’s For
This pistol is built for the southern shooter who values reliability and capacity in a compact package. Whether you’re a bird hunter needing a backup sidearm, a concealed carrier who spends long days in the field, or a practical shooter who wants an optics-ready platform without the bulk, the Hellcat Pro OSP fits the bill. It’s also a great choice for anyone upgrading from a smaller 9mm for better grip and magazine capacity.
Pros & Cons
- Pro: High capacity for its size – 15 rounds in a compact frame is hard to beat for everyday carry.
- Pro: Optics-ready slide saves you the cost and hassle of aftermarket milling.
- Con: The factory trigger has a slightly longer reset compared to aftermarket options – this is a trade-off for reliability and is consistent with other Springfield Armory models.
