Key Features
- Factory-Installed Viridian RFX11 Green Dot – Why it matters: You get an optics-ready pistol with the sight already mounted and zeroed, saving you time and the cost of a separate purchase. The green dot is easy to pick up in bright light.
- 15-Round Capacity in a Compact Frame – Why it matters: You carry 15+1 rounds of 9mm without the bulk of a full-size gun. The slim profile hides well under a T-shirt.
- Gear Pac Package – Why it matters: Three magazines, a padded bag, and the optic are all included. You don't need to buy extras to start carrying.
- Melonite Finish on Slide and Barrel – Why it matters: This surface treatment resists rust and wear from daily carry. According to Springfield Armory specs, it penetrates the metal for long-lasting protection.
- Optics-Ready Slide (OSP) – Why it matters: The slide is cut for micro red dots, so you can swap the RFX11 for another optic later if you want. It's built to accept popular footprints.
Who It's For
This is for someone who wants a high-capacity 9mm for concealed carry without spending extra on accessories. New gun owners will appreciate the included bag and extra magazines. Experienced shooters will like the optics-ready slide and factory-installed green dot. It fits anyone who carries daily and wants a reliable, compact pistol with a proven track record.
Pros and Cons
- Pro: The Gear Pac gives you three magazines, which is rare at this price. Most pistols come with two.
- Pro: The Viridian RFX11 green dot is bright and holds zero well. It's a solid optic for the money.
- Con: The grip texture is aggressive. If you carry against bare skin, you may want to wear an undershirt or use a grip sleeve.

FAQ
Does the Hellcat Pro OSP come with the optic installed?
Yes. The Gear Pac ships with the Viridian RFX11 green dot already mounted and zeroed from the factory. You can use it right out of the box.
How many magazines are included?
Three 15-round magazines are included. That gives you 45 rounds total, plus the one in the chamber.
Is this pistol optics-ready for other sights?
The slide is cut for micro red dots, but the RFX11 uses a specific footprint. If you want to swap optics, check compatibility with the Hellcat Pro OSP slide cut. Springfield Armory lists compatible footprints on their site.
What holsters fit the Hellcat Pro OSP?
Most holsters made for the Hellcat Pro OSP work with this model, including those from CrossBreed, Vedder, and DeSantis. The optic adds a little height, so look for holsters cut for optics.
Is this a good choice for a first gun?
Yes. The 9mm caliber is easy to shoot, the 15-round capacity gives you plenty of practice ammo, and the included bag and extra magazines reduce the need for extra purchases. It's a solid, reliable starter pistol.
