Key Features
- Compensated 3.1-Inch Barrel – The integrated comp cuts muzzle flip by about 30% in real-world shooting, letting you land follow-up shots faster on a compact frame. Why it matters: In a tight urban encounter, that split-second recovery can be the difference between center mass and a miss.
- Shark Coast Tactical Komodo Grip Module – Textured aggressively with a high undercut trigger guard, it locks your support hand in place without shifting. Why it matters: Sweaty palms or a hurried draw won’t compromise your grip, keeping you on target when adrenaline spikes.
- Optic-Ready Slide (RMSc Footprint) – Cut for micro red dots like the Holosun 407K or Sig Romeo Zero, so you can add a dot without milling. Why it matters: A red dot speeds up target acquisition in low-light or high-stress scenarios common in apartment or parking-lot defense.
- Cell-Shaded Anime Cerakote Finish – A multi-layer baked-on paint that resists holster wear and corrosion better than standard coatings. Why it matters: This finish holds up to daily carry sweat and friction, so your gun looks good and stays protected for years.
- Night Sights Standard – Tritium front and rear glow for 10+ years, giving you a visible sight picture in complete darkness. Why it matters: Most urban self-defense incidents happen in low light—these sights eliminate guesswork.
Who It’s For
This pistol is built for the urban CCW holder who wants a compact 9mm that stands out visually without sacrificing function. If you carry appendix, live in an apartment, and train regularly, the compensated barrel helps you stay on target during rapid fire. It’s also a solid choice for collectors who appreciate unique factory-finished firearms.
Pros & Cons
- Pros: Factory-compensated barrel for reduced muzzle rise, 17+1 capacity in a subcompact frame, distinctive anime Cerakote won’t chip easily, night sights included, optic-ready slide saves you milling costs.
- Cons: The anime finish is a niche aesthetic—if you prefer all-black or tactical colors, this isn’t for you. Also, the Komodo grip texture can be aggressive against bare skin if you carry AIWB without an undershirt.

The Sig SCT Anime Macro 365X offers a factory-compensated barrel and higher capacity at a lower price point than both the Zev OZ9C and Agency Arms G19 builds. However, those competitors use full-size slides and barrels, which may be preferable for competition or duty use. For concealed carry, the Sig’s lighter weight and shorter length win.
FAQ
What holsters fit the Sig SCT Anime Macro 365X with the Komodo grip module?
Because the Komodo grip module has a different trigger guard and rail shape than a standard P365X, you need a holster specifically molded for the Shark Coast Tactical Komodo grip. Brands like Tier 1 Concealed and TXC Holsters offer compatible options. Always verify holster fit before purchasing.
Can I swap the barrel for a non-compensated one?
Yes, the 3.1-inch compensated barrel is removable and can be replaced with a standard P365X barrel from Sig Sauer or aftermarket makers like Faxon. Note that the slide is cut for the comp, so a non-comp barrel will leave a gap at the muzzle.
Is the anime finish durable for daily carry?
According to Sig Sauer specs, the Cerakote anime finish is baked on at 300°F and tested for 500+ cycles in a holster abrasion test. It holds up better than factory bluing but may show wear at high-friction points (slide release, holster edge) over time. It’s a durable finish for a carry gun.
Does this pistol come with a manual safety?
No, the Sig SCT Anime Macro 365X does not include a manual safety. It relies on the trigger blade safety and a drop-safe firing pin block. If you prefer a manual safety, you would need to swap the grip module and FCU—though the Komodo grip does not have a safety cutout.
