About this product
The Sig Sauer P365X ROMEO-X SIG-LOC 9mm 3.1in (2)12rd Mags is a factory-integrated micro-compact carry package that takes the proven P365 platform and mates it with the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC reflex sight. This isn’t a gun you have to send out for milling or buy aftermarket plates for—it comes ready to run with a factory-installed optic, X-RAY3 suppressor-height night sights, and an X-Series grip module designed for faster reloads and better recoil control. For the shooter who wants a reliable, shootable, and concealable 9mm straight out of the box, this is it.

Key Features
- Factory-Installed ROMEO-X SIG-LOC Optic – Why it matters: No gunsmithing, no adapter plates, no zeroing headaches. The ROMEO-X is direct-mounted to the slide using the SIG-LOC system, which keeps the optic low and secure. The 3 MOA red dot is bright, crisp, and holds zero through thousands of rounds.
- X-RAY3 Day/Night Sights – Why it matters: You get a true co-witness with the red dot. The tritium front and rear glow in low light, and the high-visibility front ring makes target acquisition fast even without the dot. This is a backup you can actually use.
- X-Series Grip Module with Integrated Carry Magwell – Why it matters: The flared magwell speeds up reloads without adding bulk. The X-Series texture gives you a positive grip without sandpaper feel, and the 12-round flush-fit magazine keeps the gun concealable.
- SIG-LOC Optic Footprint – Why it matters: This is Sig’s proprietary mounting system that eliminates the need for adapters. It’s a direct, secure fit that keeps the optic at the lowest possible height. If you ever swap optics, you stay in the SIG-LOC ecosystem.
- Two 12-Round Steel Magazines Included – Why it matters: You get two flush-fit 12-rounders out of the box. That’s 12+1 capacity in a gun smaller than many 10-round competitors. No need to buy extra mags right away.
Who It’s For
This is for the concealed carrier who wants a red dot from day one without the hassle of aftermarket installation. It’s also for the new shooter who wants a reliable, easy-to-shoot micro-compact that doesn’t require a gunsmith to set up. If you’re a student in my classes, this is the gun I recommend when you say “I want a dot, but I don’t want to wait two months for slide milling.”
Pros and Cons
- Pros: Factory optic integration means no adapter plates, true co-witness with X-RAY3 sights, excellent ergonomics for a micro-compact, reliable P365 platform, two 12-round magazines included.
- Cons: The SIG-LOC footprint limits you to ROMEO-X optics—you can’t mount an RMR or Holosun without a new slide or adapter. Also, the trigger is the standard P365 trigger, which is serviceable but not match-grade. If you want a lighter pull, plan on swapping it.

FAQ
What is the difference between the P365X ROMEO-X and the standard P365X?
The ROMEO-X comes with the SIG-LOC reflex sight factory-installed and includes X-RAY3 suppressor-height night sights for co-witness. The standard P365X has a standard optic-ready slide but no optic included, and uses standard-height X-RAY3 sights that won’t co-witness with most red dots.
Can I use standard P365 holsters with the P365X ROMEO-X?
Yes, any holster made for the P365X (not the standard P365) will fit. The P365X has a longer grip, so standard P365 holsters won’t work. Most quality holster makers offer a P365X option that accommodates the optic.
Does the ROMEO-X SIG-LOC optic have a battery life, and how do I change the battery?
The ROMEO-X uses a CR2032 battery and has an estimated 20,000-hour battery life on medium setting. The battery is mounted in the optic housing—you do not need to remove the optic to change it. Just pop out the battery tray on the side.
Is the SIG-LOC footprint compatible with other optics?
No, the SIG-LOC footprint is proprietary to Sig Sauer ROMEO-X optics. You cannot mount an RMR, Holosun, or other optic without an adapter plate or aftermarket slide. If you want to use a different optic, you’ll need to buy a standard P365X slide and an adapter plate.
Over 60% of new concealed carriers now choose a micro-compact 9mm with a factory-installed red dot—and the Sig Sauer P365X ROMEO-X SIG-LOC is one of the most reliable options on the market. If you want a gun that’s ready to carry and shoot out of the box, this is it.
