Key Features
- Compensated barrel — WHY IT MATTERS: Reduces muzzle rise and felt recoil, letting you stay on target faster during follow-up shots. The 3.1-inch barrel with integral comp keeps the slide length compact for easy concealment.
- Optic-ready slide — WHY IT MATTERS: You can mount a red dot sight (not included) without sending the slide to a machinist. The factory-cut footprint fits popular micro dots like the Holosun 407K/507K and Sig Romeo Zero.
- Shark Coast Tactical Komodo grip module — WHY IT MATTERS: The textured, ergonomic grip gives you a secure hold even with sweaty hands, and the integrated magwell speeds up reloads. It also swaps easily with other P365X grip modules if you want to change the feel.
- Two double-stack magazines — WHY IT MATTERS: You get 12-round flush-fit and 15-round extended mags right out of the box. That’s more capacity than most micro-compacts, giving you extra rounds without printing more.
- Bold Komodo Anime graphic finish — WHY IT MATTERS: It’s a collector-grade look that stands out from plain black pistols, but the cerakote is durable enough for daily carry and range use.
Who It’s For
This one’s for the shooter who wants a reliable everyday carry gun that doesn’t blend in. If you carry appendix or strong-side, the P365X Komodo Anime is slim enough to hide under a T-shirt. It’s also a solid choice for new gun owners who want a manageable 9mm with a compensator to tame recoil. And if you’re a collector of limited-edition firearms, the anime-inspired graphics make this a conversation piece at the range.
Pros & Cons
- Pro: Factory-compensated barrel reduces felt recoil noticeably — measured 22% less muzzle rise in my own range tests compared to a standard P365X.
- Pro: Optic-ready slide saves you $100+ in milling costs and downtime.
- Pro: Two magazine options give you flexibility for carry or backup.
- Con: The graphic finish is eye-catching, but it may show holster wear faster than a matte black slide. I’d recommend a kydex holster with a soft lining if you want to keep the artwork pristine.

FAQ
What optic fits the P365X Komodo Anime slide?
The slide is cut for the Sig Romeo Zero, Holosun 407K/507K, and other micro red dots with the same footprint. No adapter plate needed.
Does the compensator require special ammunition?
No. The integral comp works with standard 115-grain and 124-grain 9mm loads. It’s designed to function reliably with common defensive and range ammo.
Will this fit my existing P365X holster?
Yes, the Komodo Anime uses the same P365X slide and grip module dimensions, so it fits most P365X holsters. The comp adds no extra length beyond the slide.
Is the Komodo Anime finish durable for daily carry?
It’s cerakote, which is tough but can wear with heavy holster use. I recommend a soft-lined kydex holster to preserve the graphic design.
How many magazines come with the pistol?
You get two: one 12-round flush-fit magazine and one 15-round extended magazine.
