Key Features
- Optics-Ready Slide with Tritium Night Sights – The slide is cut for a red dot, and the tritium front/rear sights co-witness at a 1/3 lower level. Why it matters: You get fast target acquisition in low light and the flexibility to add a dot without sending the slide to a machinist.
- Integrated Tisas Compensator – A factory-installed compensator is threaded onto the 4.25-inch barrel. Why it matters: It reduces muzzle rise for faster follow-up shots, especially with hot .45 ACP defensive loads.
- Angled Slide Cuts – These lighten the slide and provide serrations for positive grip. Why it matters: Easier to rack the slide under stress or with wet hands, and less reciprocating mass means less felt recoil.
- Thin Tricut Aluminum Grips – Slim profile with aggressive texturing. Why it matters: They reduce overall width for concealed carry, while the texture locks the gun in your hand.
- Two 8-Round Magazines and Lockable Hard Case – Includes two stainless steel mags and a padded, lockable case. Why it matters: You have a spare mag for the range or carry, plus secure storage right from day one.
Who It's For
This pistol is for the shooter who wants a compact 1911 that doesn't skimp on features. It fits home defense, concealed carry, and range use. New gun owners will appreciate the factory-installed compensator and optics cut—no gunsmithing needed. Experienced shooters will like the tritium sights and the ability to run a red dot. It also works well for left-handed shooters because the ambidextrous safety is standard.
Pros & Cons
- Pro: Factory compensator reduces recoil without adding length to the frame.
- Pro: Tritium night sights and optics cut make it ready for low-light or dot use.
- Pro: Two 8-round magazines included—most compacts only give you one.
- Con: The compensator is threaded and may add a small amount of overall length, so holster fit should be checked for concealed carry. Per SDS Imports, the barrel is 4.25 inches, but the comp adds about 0.75 inch.
