Key Features
- Optic-Ready Slide with Metal RMR Plate — The slide is machined to accept a reflex sight, and the included metal RMR plate gives you a solid mounting base. This matters because a red dot speeds up target acquisition, especially in low light or when shooting from retention.
- Viridian RFX11 Green-Dot Reflex Sight Included — You get a quality green-dot sight right in the bundle, saving you the hassle of buying one separately. The green dot is easier on the eyes in bright daylight and helps you stay on target.
- Aggressive Front and Rear Serrations — The slide has deep, sharp serrations on both ends. This matters because it gives you a positive grip when press-checking the chamber or racking the slide one-handed against a belt or table.
- Ambidextrous Magazine Release — The mag release is reversible and works for left- or right-handed shooters. This matters because it makes the pistol more versatile for different users or if you need to shoot with your support hand.
- Smooth 5-Pound Trigger Pull — The trigger breaks cleanly at five pounds with a short reset. This matters because a predictable trigger helps you shoot accurately under stress without needing a heavy pull.
Who It’s For
This bundle is built for the southern shooter who wants a compact 9mm for concealed carry or home defense. It’s also a solid choice for the dove hunter who likes to have a sidearm in the truck. If you’re after a striker-fired pistol that’s ready to run with a dot, this fits the bill.
Pros & Cons
- Pro: Comes with a Viridian green dot, carry bag, and extra magazines — saves you a good bit of money over buying them separate.
- Pro: Nitrocarburized finish is tough and resists rust, which is a real plus in the humid South.
- Con: The trigger is decent but not match-grade — it’s a bit heavier than some shooters prefer for precision work.

FAQ
Is this bundle a good value for the money?
Yes, sir. For $496.38, you get the RM1C pistol, a Viridian RFX11 green-dot sight, a carry bag, and spare magazines. Buying those items separately would run you north of $700, so you’re saving a good chunk.
Does the RM1C fit standard 9mm magazines?
It uses proprietary Rost Martin magazines, which are included in the bundle. The mags are reliable and feed standard 9mm ammo without issue.
Can I swap the green dot for a different sight?
Yes. The slide uses an RMR footprint, so you can mount most RMR-pattern red dots. The included metal plate is for that pattern, but you can buy adapter plates for other footprints.
How does the Nitrocarburized finish hold up?
According to Rost Martin, the finish is designed to resist wear and corrosion. In my experience with similar finishes, it’ll hold up well to daily carry and range use, even in humid conditions.
Is this pistol easy to conceal?
Yes. With a 4-inch barrel and compact frame, it’s easy to carry IWB or OWB under a light cover garment. The polymer frame keeps the weight down.
