About this product
The Retay RXP .22 LR 10+1 4″ Threaded Barrel is a low-recoil semi-auto handgun built for urban shooters who train hard and carry smart. This OD Green Cerakote pistol pairs a 4-inch threaded barrel with an optic-ready slide, giving you a practical platform for both range work and concealed carry practice. At $249, it’s a budget-friendly entry into the Retay lineup without cutting corners on features like accessory rails, manual safety, and RMR/RMSc optic compatibility. If you want a .22 that mimics a centerfire carry gun, this is it.

Key Features
- Threaded 4″ Barrel — Run a suppressor or compensator for reduced noise and muzzle rise. In tight apartments or indoor ranges, that matters.
- Optic-Ready Slide — Direct mount for RMR/RMSc optics. No adapter plate needed. Faster target acquisition in low-light or defensive scenarios.
- OD Green Cerakote Frame — Durable finish that resists holster wear and stands out from black plastic. Matches urban tactical aesthetics without being flashy.
- 10+1 Capacity — Enough rounds for training drills or plinking without adding bulk. Magazines are easy to load and drop free.
- Manual Safety — Positive click engagement. Gives you an extra layer of control, especially if you carry condition 1 or store in a nightstand.
Who It’s For
City dwellers who carry a centerfire pistol but want a .22 for cheaper, low-recoil practice. Apartment owners who need a quiet suppressor host for backyard or indoor range use. New shooters looking for a reliable first handgun that won’t break the bank. If you train at an indoor range with noise restrictions or shoot steel challenge, this Retay RXP fits.

FAQ
Does this Retay RXP come with a threaded barrel adapter or suppressor mount?
It includes the factory threaded barrel, but no adapter or mount. You’ll need a 1/2×28 thread adapter for most .22 suppressors. Check your suppressor’s specs before ordering.
Can I mount a red dot directly on this slide?
Yes, the slide is cut for RMR and RMSc footprints. No adapter plate required. Just screw on a compatible optic like a Holosun 407K or Vortex Viper.
Is this pistol reliable with subsonic .22 ammo?
Per Retay USA specs, the RXP cycles most standard-velocity and high-velocity .22 LR reliably. Subsonic loads may need a break-in period or a lighter recoil spring. Test with your suppressor before relying on it.
Does the OD Green Cerakote finish wear differently than black?
Cerakote is durable, but any finish will show holster wear over time. The OD Green hides scuffs better than high-gloss colors. Clean with mild solvents to preserve it.
What’s the warranty on this Retay RXP?
Retay USA offers a limited lifetime warranty on the firearm. Contact their support for details on coverage and claims.
