Key Features
- 12.5-inch barrel — Why it matters: Shorter barrel keeps the overall length under 30 inches for easy storage in apartments or vehicle compartments, while the .308 cartridge still delivers devastating terminal ballistics at self-defense distances (0-100 yards).
- Free-float M-LOK handguard — Why it matters: Lets you mount lights, lasers, and grips without affecting barrel harmonics, keeping your point of impact consistent when you need it most.
- Stabilizing brace included — Why it matters: Allows one-handed or braced shooting for better control during rapid fire, turning this pistol into a defensive tool that handles like a short rifle.
- Roller-delayed blowback action — Why it matters: Reduces felt recoil and keeps the muzzle flat for faster follow-up shots, critical in a high-pressure self-defense scenario.
- Pistol configuration — Why it matters: Legally a handgun under federal law, so you can transport it loaded in your vehicle in most states, and it fits in a standard pistol case for discrete carry.
Who It’s For
This is for the urban CCW holder who wants a compact .308 for home defense or vehicle carry. It’s also for apartment dwellers who need a short, powerful platform that doesn’t require a long gun safe. If you train with a brace and know your state laws on pistol braces, this fills a niche between a full-size rifle and a handgun.
Pros & Cons
Pros: Compact .308 punch, reliable roller-delayed action, M-LOK for accessories, brace included, legal pistol configuration.
Cons: At roughly 7.5 pounds unloaded, it’s heavy for a pistol—you feel it on the front end during extended holds. And .308 ammo is louder and more expensive than 9mm for practice.

FAQ
Can I use this for home defense in an apartment?
Yes, but consider overpenetration. .308 rounds will pass through drywall and walls. Use controlled-expansion ammunition like Hornady TAP or Federal Fusion to reduce risk. The 12.5-inch barrel keeps it maneuverable in tight spaces.
Does the brace make it legal to shoulder?
Per current ATF rulings (as of 2024), you can shoulder a pistol brace without forming a short-barreled rifle, as long as the firearm remains in pistol configuration. Check your state and local laws before modifying.
What accessories fit the M-LOK handguard?
The free-float M-LOK handguard accepts any M-LOK-compatible light, laser, vertical grip, or hand stop. Standard Picatinny rails can be added via M-LOK adapters.
Is this legal to carry concealed?
It’s legally a handgun, but at 12.5 inches barrel and ~7.5 pounds, it’s too large for typical concealed carry. Best used for vehicle carry, home defense, or backpack carry with a CCW permit where allowed.
