Pros & Cons
- Pros: Affordable at $370.01; threaded barrel for attachments; HiViz sights for fast aiming; durable polymer frame; integrated rails for accessories.
- Cons: The trigger pull is heavy and gritty out of the box, which can affect accuracy for some shooters. Aftermarket trigger upgrades are limited, so you may need to break it in or accept the factory pull.

FAQ
Is the Hi-Point 4595P reliable for self-defense?
Yes, it’s generally reliable for home defense. The heavy design absorbs recoil well, and the manual safety adds security. However, some users report occasional feeding issues during the first 200 rounds. Break it in with a thorough cleaning and quality .45 ACP ammo for best results.
What accessories can I mount on the Picatinny rails?
You can attach lights, lasers, or grips. The rails are standard size, so most aftermarket accessories fit. Just avoid anything too bulky that might interfere with the magazine release.
Can I use a suppressor with the threaded barrel?
Yes, the 14.25-inch barrel is threaded (typically 5/8x24), so you can attach a suppressor. Make sure your suppressor is rated for .45 ACP and check local laws before use.
How many magazines come with the Hi-Point 4595P?
It ships with one 10-round magazine. Extra magazines are available from Hi-Point or aftermarket sellers.
