FAQ
What is the magazine capacity of the GSG FireFly?
The GSG GERG2210FFG FireFly has a 10+1 capacity – one in the chamber and a 10-round magazine.
Is the GSG FireFly reliable with all .22 LR ammo?
It runs best with standard velocity .22 LR. High-velocity or subsonic rounds may cause occasional cycling issues. Stick with quality brands like CCI Mini-Mag or Federal AutoMatch for best performance.
Does the FireFly have a threaded barrel for a suppressor?
No, the standard 4″ green steel barrel is not threaded. You would need to check with GSG for any aftermarket options.
Is the accessory rail compatible with standard lights and lasers?
Yes, the integrated rail fits most standard pistol lights and lasers, like the Streamlight TLR-1 or SureFire X300.
Can I use this for home defense?
While .22 LR can be lethal, it is generally not recommended for primary home defense due to lower stopping power. This gun is better suited for training, plinking, and small game hunting.
