Key Features
- Polished Slide with Decocker – The factory-installed decocker lets you drop the hammer safely without touching the trigger, while the polished stainless surface resists corrosion and looks clean on the range.
- Engraved Santa Muerte Grips – These distinctive grips add a custom aesthetic and provide a secure purchase even with sweaty hands, ideal for collectors or shooters who want a stand-out firearm.
- 18-Round Magazine – Full-size capacity gives you 18+1 rounds on tap, reducing reload frequency during training or competition.
- 4.9″ Barrel – The longer barrel boosts velocity and sight radius, improving accuracy at distance compared to compact 9mm pistols.
- Accessory Rail – A standard Picatinny rail lets you mount a light or laser without aftermarket adapters, making it ready for low-light use.
Who It’s For
This pistol suits shooters who want a full-size 9mm with a manual decocker for carry or competition, plus a unique look that stands out from standard black guns. If you prefer a traditional double-action/single-action trigger and don’t need a manual safety, the Liberador fills that niche.
Pros & Cons
- Pros: Factory decocker, high 18-round capacity, polished stainless slide, engraved grips, accessory rail, hard case included.
- Cons: The engraved Santa Muerte grips may not appeal to all shooters; if you prefer a standard grip texture, you’ll need to swap them out.

FAQ
Does the Girsan Regard MC Liberador have a manual safety?
No, this model uses a decocker only. There is no frame-mounted manual safety. The decocker safely lowers the hammer on a live round.
Are extra magazines available for this pistol?
Yes, Girsan and aftermarket sources sell 18-round magazines that fit the Regard MC series. Standard Beretta 92/96 magazines may also work with minor fit adjustments.
Can I mount an optic on the Liberador?
The slide is not cut for an optic from the factory. You would need an aftermarket milling service or a dovetail mount to add a red dot.
What holsters fit this pistol?
Holsters designed for the Beretta 92FS with a rail usually fit the Regard MC Liberador, but confirm the trigger guard and decocker clearance before ordering.
