Key Features
- Optics-Cut Serrated Slide — WHY IT MATTERS: You can mount a micro red dot right out of the box, giving you faster target acquisition and a more modern shooting experience without sending the slide out for milling.
- Fiber Optic Front Sight — WHY IT MATTERS: Even without a red dot, the bright fiber optic front sight helps you pick up the front post quickly in low light, making it easier to stay on target.
- Aggressive Stippling with Thumb Rest — WHY IT MATTERS: The textured grip and integrated thumb shelf give you a solid, repeatable hold — especially important for a sub-compact where recoil management can be tricky.
- Four Interchangeable Backstraps — WHY IT MATTERS: Whether you have small hands or wear gloves, you can adjust the grip angle and circumference to fit your hand perfectly, improving comfort and control.
- U.S.-Made Build — WHY IT MATTERS: You're getting a handgun assembled right here, which often means better quality control and easier warranty support if you ever need it.
Who It's For
This handgun is built for everyday carry — especially for shooters who want a compact 9mm with modern features like an optics-ready slide and a customizable grip. It's also a great option for new gun owners looking for an affordable, reliable sub-compact that's easy to shoot and maintain. The purple/black color scheme gives it a unique look that stands out from the usual black or FDE options.
Pros & Cons
- Pros: Affordable price point, optics-ready slide, fiber optic front sight, interchangeable backstraps, aggressive stippling, U.S.-made.
- Cons: The trigger pull is a bit heavy out of the box — some shooters may want to swap it for a lighter aftermarket trigger. Also, holster compatibility can be limited due to the thumb rest; you may need a custom or universal holster.

FAQ
Does the GForce GF9 Rapture come with a red dot?
No, it does not include a red dot optic. The slide is cut to accept common micro red dot footprints like RMSc and Shield, so you can mount your own optic.
What holsters fit the GF9 Rapture with the thumb rest?
The thumb rest is a molded part of the frame, so it may not fit standard sub-compact holsters. Many owners use universal or custom kydex holsters, or look for holsters specifically designed for the GF9. Some users also modify existing holsters with a heat gun for a custom fit.
Is the purple Cerakote durable?
Yes, Cerakote is a ceramic-based finish that resists scratches, corrosion, and wear. With normal use and proper care, the purple finish should hold up well over time.
What is the warranty on the GForce GF9 Rapture?
GForce Arms offers a limited lifetime warranty on their firearms. Contact their customer service for specific details on coverage and claims.
