FAQ
What optics fit the FN 510 MRD without extra plates?
The slide accepts most MRD-pattern optics using the included mounting plates. Popular direct-fit options include the Trijicon RMR, Holosun 407C/507C, and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro with the appropriate plate from the kit.
Does the FN 510 MRD come with a threaded barrel?
No, the standard 4.1-inch barrel is not threaded. If you want a suppressor or compensator, you’ll need an aftermarket threaded barrel — but the factory barrel is cold hammer-forged for accuracy as-is.
Can I use this for concealed carry?
At 29.1 oz and a full-size grip, it’s better suited for open carry, woods carry, or range use. It’s doable with a quality holster and heavy belt, but most folks prefer a compact 9mm for daily concealed carry.
What is the warranty on the FN 510 MRD?
FN America offers a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner. Per FN specs, any defects in materials or workmanship are covered for the life of the firearm.
