Key Features
- Optic-Ready Slide — Cuts down mounting costs and lets you run a red dot without a gunsmith. Compatible with RMS/RMSc footprint sights.
- Ambidextrous Safety — Makes the gun truly lefty-friendly and speeds up manipulations under stress.
- Enhanced Trigger System — A lighter, crisper break over a standard GI 1911 trigger. Expect a clean pull right out of the box.
- Flared Magazine Well — Speeds reloads under pressure; the funnel guides the mag home even with sweaty or gloved hands.
- Long Hole Hammer — Reduces hammer bite for shooters with larger hands and gives a more positive cocking feel.
Who It's For
This is for the shooter who wants a modern 1911 in 9mm for concealed carry or competition. It fits anyone who needs an optic-ready slide, adjustable sights, and a rail for a light—all at a price under $600. New shooters will appreciate the single-action trigger and the forgiving recoil of 9mm; experienced carriers will like the ambi safety and flared mag well.
Pros & Cons
- Pros: Affordable optic-ready 1911; Tungsten Gray Cerakote resists holster wear; flared mag well aids reload speed; ambi safety works for lefties.
- Cons: Trigger pull is heavier than aftermarket units from Timney or Geissele; the 7-round magazine capacity is lower than some double-stack 9mm 1911s.

FAQ
Is this 1911 compatible with standard 1911 holsters?
Yes, the external dimensions match a Commander-size 1911. Most leather and Kydex holsters for a 4-inch 1911 will fit, but check the optic cut if you mount a red dot.
Does it come with optic mounting plates?
No mounting plates are included. The slide is cut for RMS/RMSc direct-mount optics. You’ll need to buy the correct screws for your specific optic.
What is the trigger pull weight?
Per EAA specs, the trigger breaks at approximately 4.5–5.5 lbs. It’s a single-action trigger with a positive reset.
Can I run +P ammunition?
Yes, the 9mm model is rated for +P loads. Standard pressure is fine for practice; +P gives you extra velocity for defensive use.
