Who It's For
This is for the EDC enthusiast who wants a lightweight, packable single-shot that can handle suppressor duty and caliber swaps. It’s also for backpackers, truck-gun builders, and anyone who appreciates a veteran-owned, made-in-USA tool that doesn’t sacrifice versatility for size.
Pros & Cons
- Pros: Compact breakdown, suppressor-ready, easy caliber swaps, optics-ready, durable aluminum frame.
- Cons: Single-shot only — no magazine feed for follow-ups, and the 5.7x28mm round can be pricier than 9mm for practice. Also, adding a stock requires an SBR stamp under NFA rules, which adds paperwork and cost if you want a full-length build.

FAQ
Can I use this as an EDC piece?
Yes, but it’s a single-shot. It works best as a backup or specialized tool for precision shots while hiking or camping. It’s not a defensive primary due to the lack of magazine capacity.
Does it come with a suppressor?
No, the threaded muzzle is suppressor-ready, but you’ll need to purchase a 1/2x28 suppressor separately. Check local NFA laws for ownership requirements.
How do I swap calibers?
Remove the barrel and bolt face, then install the new barrel and corresponding bolt face for the desired caliber. Per Dark Mountain specs, the process takes less than a minute with basic tools.
Can I add a stock?
Yes, an SBR kit is available separately, but it requires an ATF Form 1 approval under NFA rules. The pistol configuration is legal as-is without a stock.
What’s the barrel length when removed?
The barrel is 5 inches long and detaches from the receiver for compact storage. Total length with barrel removed is under 8 inches, per manufacturer specs.
