About this product
The CZ-USA SP-01 Shadow ACCU 9mm 4.6in 19rd (3 Mags) is a competition-ready full-size pistol built for shooters who demand precision and speed. Based on the legendary CZ 75 DA/SA platform, this model comes direct from CZ Custom with a 4.6-inch ACCU-bushing barrel, a short-reach/short-reset trigger kit, and a competition hammer. It ships with three 19-round magazines, making it a reliable choice for range work, USPSA matches, or heavy home defense use. According to CZ-USA specs, the ACCU bushing system delivers match-grade barrel lockup for consistent accuracy shot after shot.

Key Features
- ACCU-Bushing Barrel: Why it matters: This drop-in bushing tightens barrel-to-slide fit, shrinking groups at 25 yards by up to 40% compared to a standard SP-01. You get competition-level accuracy without a full custom build.
- Short-Reach / Short-Reset Trigger Kit: Why it matters: The trigger reach is reduced by 2mm for smaller hands, and the reset is cut by 60% — meaning faster follow-up shots and less finger strain during extended range sessions.
- Competition Hammer and Stainless Steel Guide Rod: Why it matters: The skeletonized hammer reduces lock time, and the steel guide rod adds 0.3 oz of front-end weight to tame muzzle flip. You stay on target for double-taps.
- Three 19-Round Magazines: Why it matters: Most pistols ship with two mags. You get three, giving you 57 rounds out of the box — enough for a full USPSA stage or a busy range day without constant reloading.
- Fiber Optic Front Sight: Why it matters: The red fiber optic front sight grabs light for instant pickup in indoor ranges or low-light home defense scenarios. No batteries needed, no tritium to fade.
Who It's For
This pistol is built for the urban shooter who trains hard and competes on weekends. If you carry a compact for daily defense but want a full-size rig for matches, classes, or nightstand duty, the SP-01 Shadow ACCU fills that gap. Apartment dwellers will appreciate the steel frame's weight — it soaks up recoil in tight shooting lanes. It's also a solid choice for left-handed shooters with its ambidextrous controls and decocker.
Pros / Cons
- Pros: Match-grade accuracy out of the box; short-reset trigger cuts split times; three 19-round mags included; ambi controls for lefties; decocker for safe DA/SA carry.
- Cons: The ACCU bushing requires careful cleaning — carbon buildup can affect lockup if neglected. Also, the DA trigger pull is 9 lbs (per CZ Custom specs), which may feel heavy for new shooters.

FAQ
Can I use this for concealed carry?
The SP-01 Shadow ACCU is a full-size steel pistol — at 2.5 lbs empty and 8.1 inches overall length, it's heavy and long for daily IWB carry. Most urban shooters use it for home defense, range training, or competition. If you want a CZ for carry, look at the CZ P-01 or RAMI.
Does it come with a safety or decocker?
It ships with a decocker only — no manual safety. The DA/SA trigger system means the first pull is a long, heavy double-action (9 lbs), which acts as a passive safety. Use the decocker to lower the hammer safely after chambering a round.
Is the ACCU bushing easy to install on a standard SP-01?
It's a drop-in part for SP-01 slides, but you'll need to fit it with a bushing wrench and stones if the fit is tight. CZ Custom recommends professional installation unless you have gunsmithing experience. The Shadow ACCU comes pre-installed from the factory.
What holsters fit this pistol?
Any holster molded for the CZ 75 SP-01 (full-size) will work, but the ACCU bushing may add 0.1 inch to the barrel diameter. Test fit before buying. Brands like Safariland, Blade-Tech, and Red Hill Tactical make SP-01 competition holsters.
