Key Features
- 11-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel — Why it matters: The shorter length keeps the overall package compact while still delivering the velocity and energy you expect from 7.62×39, making it ideal for home defense or truck gun use.
- SB Tactical pistol brace — Why it matters: This adjustable brace gives you a stable shooting platform without the NFA paperwork of a short-barreled rifle, so you can shoot more accurately and comfortably.
- Ambidextrous controls — Why it matters: Safety selector, magazine release, and bolt catch are all accessible from either side, making this pistol equally easy to run for left- or right-handed shooters.
- Flip-up iron sights — Why it matters: You don’t have to mount optics right away; these rugged, low-profile sights are zeroed from the factory and ready to use for immediate accuracy.
- 30-round magazine — Why it matters: You get plenty of firepower in one load, and the steel-reinforced polymer mags are reliable and easy to reload.
Who It’s For
This pistol is built for anyone who wants a compact, hard-hitting firearm that’s easy to maneuver in tight spaces. It’s a great choice for home defense, truck or backpack carry, and range plinking. New gun owners will appreciate the simple controls and the fact that it ships with a brace and sights—no extra purchases needed to get started. Experienced shooters will like the proven CZ reliability and the ability to customize it with aftermarket parts.
Pros & Cons
Pros: True 7.62×39 rifle power in a pistol-sized package; SB Tactical brace included; ambidextrous controls; reliable CZ gas-piston system; accepts standard AR-15 grips and some stocks with an adapter; flip-up iron sights included.
Cons: The 11-inch barrel is louder and has more muzzle flash than a longer barrel, especially with supersonic 7.62×39 ammo; the pistol is heavier than many 9mm pistols, so it’s not a pocket carry option.

FAQ
Is the CZ Bren 2 MS pistol in 7.62×39 legal to own without a tax stamp?
Yes. Because it ships with a pistol brace and has a barrel over 10 inches, it is classified as a pistol under current ATF guidelines. You do not need a tax stamp to own it. However, laws can change, so always check your local and state regulations before purchasing.
Can I attach a suppressor to this pistol?
Yes, the 11-inch barrel is threaded (1/2×28 TPI) and accepts standard muzzle devices. A suppressor will reduce noise and flash, but be aware that 7.62×39 is inherently loud and supersonic, so hearing protection is still recommended.
Does this pistol come with any optics or sights?
It ships with flip-up iron sights that are zeroed from the factory. No optic is included, but the top Picatinny rail accepts any standard red dot or scope mount.
What magazines does it use?
It uses CZ Bren 2 specific 30-round polymer magazines. They are reliable and easy to load. Spare mags are available separately.
