Key Features
- Match-Grade Bull Barrel (4.925 in) — The hammer-forged, CNC-machined barrel delivers consistent accuracy shot after shot. Why it matters: In a competition or defensive scenario, you need a barrel that holds tight groups under rapid fire.
- Heavy Dustcover Frame — The blued steel frame includes an internal magwell, deep beavertail, and undercut trigger guard. Why it matters: This design reduces muzzle flip, speeds up follow-up shots, and gives you a high, secure grip.
- DA/SA Trigger with Short Reset — The double-action/single-action trigger provides a tactile, short reset for faster splits. Why it matters: You get a smooth first pull and a crisp, repeatable single-action for every shot after.
- 19+1 Capacity — Ships with two 19-round magazines. Why it matters: You carry more ammo per reload, critical for USPSA stages or home defense.
- Classic CZ 75 Ergonomics — The grip angle and slide contour are proven from decades of service. Why it matters: It points naturally, fits most hand sizes, and reduces training time.
Who It's For
This pistol is for the urban CCW holder who also shoots competition, or the apartment dweller who wants a full-size home defense gun with match accuracy. If you carry a compact during the day but want a full-size gun for the nightstand or range, the A01-LD bridges that gap. It's also for shooters who appreciate custom builds without the wait.
Pros & Cons
- Pro: The 4.925-inch bull barrel and heavy frame make it one of the flattest-shooting 9mm pistols in its class.
- Pro: The internal magwell and deep beavertail allow for fast reloads and a high grip.
- Con: At roughly 2.5 lbs empty, this is not a lightweight carry gun. It's best suited for home defense or competition, not daily concealed carry.
