Key Features
- M-LOK handguard – Lets you attach lights, lasers, or a foregrip directly to the handguard without extra rails. That means a cleaner setup and better control under recoil.
- Dual autofolding non-reciprocating charging handle – You can charge the gun from either side, and the handle stays put while you shoot. No snagging on gear, no extra movement.
- Ambidextrous safety and controls – Lefties and righties both get a full set of controls: safety, slide stop, and magazine release. No adapters needed.
- Glock-style magazine compatibility – Uses widely available Glock 21 magazines. That means you can share mags with your Glock .45 or pick up spares at any gun shop.
- Aluminum construction – The frame and handguard are machined from aluminum, giving you a strong, lightweight platform that holds up to hard use. According to B&T specs, the APC series is built to military and law enforcement durability standards.
Who It's For
This pistol is for the shooter who wants a .45 that runs like a modern fighting gun. It's ideal for home defense, range use, or as a duty backup. If you already run Glock .45 mags, this gun fits right into your kit. It's also a solid choice for anyone who appreciates Swiss engineering and wants a pistol that feels balanced and controllable.
Pros and Cons
- Pros: Reliable .45 ACP performance, excellent build quality, ambidextrous controls, M-LOK for accessories, uses common Glock mags.
- Cons: Higher price point than many .45 pistols; the dual charging handle system takes a little getting used to if you're coming from a traditional slide.
Comparison: B&T APC45 PRO G vs. Zev Technologies OZ9 vs. Agency Arms Glock 21
| Feature | B&T APC45 PRO G | Zev Technologies OZ9 | Agency Arms Glock 21 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Caliber | .45 ACP | 9mm (no .45 option) | .45 ACP |
| Frame | Aluminum | Polymer/aluminum | Polymer |

| Price | $2,780 | $1,800–$2,200 | $2,000–$2,500 |
The Zev OZ9 is a great 9mm pistol but doesn't offer a .45 ACP model. The Agency Arms Glock 21 is a custom build that retains the polymer frame and standard slide. The B&T APC45 PRO G stands out with its aluminum frame, M-LOK handguard, and dual charging handles — features you won't find on the others without aftermarket work. According to B&T specs, the APC45 PRO G is also one of the few .45 pistols with a fully ambidextrous, non-reciprocating charging system.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the B&T APC45 PRO G use standard Glock 21 magazines?
Yes. It accepts Glock 21 .45 ACP magazines and compatible aftermarket options. That makes finding spare mags easy and affordable.
Is the charging handle ambidextrous?
Yes. The dual autofolding charging handles are located on both sides of the gun, so you can charge it with either hand. They fold flat when not in use and do not reciprocate during firing.
Can I mount a red dot on this pistol?
The B&T APC45 PRO G comes with a milled slide ready for direct mounting of popular red dot footprints (RMR, Delta Point Pro, etc.). Check your specific optic for adapter plate needs.
