Key Features
- Ported slide and barrel – Why it matters: Reduces muzzle rise and felt recoil, keeping your sights on target for faster follow-up shots during drills or qualification.
- Red dot ready slide – Why it matters: You can mount a micro red dot without sending the slide to a machine shop, giving you a quicker sight picture in low light or high-stress scenarios.
- Ergonomic undercut trigger guard – Why it matters: Allows a higher grip without pinching your middle finger, improving recoil control and accuracy—especially for shooters with larger hands.
- Ameriglo night sights – Why it matters: Bright, tritium-powered front and rear sights that remain visible in darkness, so you don’t have to upgrade right away.
- Picatinny rail – Why it matters: Accepts standard weapon lights and lasers for low-light training or home defense setups.

Pros & Cons

Does this Black Rain Ordnance FLP9MMBGB come with a manual safety?
No, this model does not include a manual safety. It relies on the trigger safety and internal drop safety, which is standard for GLOCK-pattern pistols. If you prefer a manual safety, you would need to look at other models or aftermarket parts.
What holsters fit this compact frame 9mm?
Because the FLP9MMBGB is built to GLOCK 19 Gen3/4 dimensions, it fits most GLOCK 19 holsters. Always test retention with your specific holster brand before carrying.
Can I use standard GLOCK 19 magazines in this gun?
Yes, it ships with a 15-round GL9 PMAG, but it also accepts all GLOCK 19 and 17 magazines (9mm). Just note that longer magazines will stick out past the grip.
Is the slide cut for a specific red dot footprint?
Yes, the slide is cut for the RMR (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) footprint, which covers Trijicon RMR, Holosun 507C/407C, and similar optics. You may need an adapter plate for other footprints.
What is the barrel length on the FLP9MMBGB?
The barrel is 4 inches, ported, and made of stainless steel. That’s the standard compact length for a GLOCK 19, giving you a good balance of accuracy and concealability.
