About this product
If you're carrying an M&P Shield M2.0 in 9mm or .40 S&W, you already know it's a solid shooter. But that factory hinged trigger leaves room for improvement. Here at Iowa Gun Shop in Des Moines, we've seen plenty of guys swap in the Apex Tactical Action Enhancement Trigger Kit, and it's a clean upgrade that makes a real difference.
This kit comes straight from Apex Tactical. It replaces that plastic hinged shoe with a solid aluminum trigger body and a center-mounted pivoting safety. You get a shorter uptake, less over-travel, and a reset you can actually feel. Pull weight drops about 1–2 pounds. Pre-travel and over-travel both shrink roughly 20%. Factory safety functions stay intact. It's built for daily carry or duty use, not range toys.
Just mind the fit: this works with Shield M2.0 in 9mm and .40 S&W only. Won't fit the .45 ACP or original Gen 1 Shield. Installation is straightforward, but we strongly recommend having an armorer or gunsmith drop in the Ultimate Striker Block into the slide. Finish is black.
We ship nationwide as a licensed FFL dealer. Order from Iowa Gun Shop, and we'll get it out the door to all 50 states. Price: $183.36.
