1911 Lower Frame Assembly - Commander – Fusion Firearms

1911 Colt style Lower Commander Size Frame assembly, completely finished. This is a fully assembled, fitted and tested Fusion Firearms, 1911 pistol frame with all internal parts fitted, Grip screw bushings installed, grip screws, and slide stop. These make excellent replacement assemblies or a great start to a new build for the home builder. All frames are completely machined from 4140/50 Solid bar-stock(this is not a Cast or poly frame), All Heat-treatments and machining complete, and finished in a matte Black-Oxide finish. The “Action” Frame assembly is the more modern design with an extended Thumb safety, high-ride beavertail grip safety, solid trigger, commander ring style hammer and undercut trigger guard. A 45 acp Ejector is also installed and pinned. This is a great set-up for those looking to build a 1911 or upgrade a frame to the more modern features most folks desire in an action or recreational 1911 pistol. Available in smooth front-strap or checkered, 20LPI. Manufactured to the original and more desirable 70 Series Colt platform. Will also work with 70 or 80 series slides, and with commander 4.25”, 4.0” or Officers size slide lengths.
