New Pistols and Rifles, Fall 2026: What to Know
Several new pistols and rifles have been announced or reported for fall 2026. This guide covers each one: what the maker or the trade press has reported, the list price where one has been published, and where to find the model in our catalog. Every price in this guide is either a list price, meaning the manufacturer's suggested retail price, or an estimate that the maker has not confirmed. Where no price has been published, the entry says so. Prices can change after a model is first reported, so the catalog is the place to check the latest figure before you order.
New pistols
CZ DUTY series
CZ has announced a pistol series called the DUTY. Gun Digest published a first look on October 7, 2026. The reports available at the time of writing do not include a price, so none is listed here. Read the maker's listing for full specifications once they are published.
SIG Sauer P385 family
SIG Sauer announced the P385 family on September 23 and 24, 2026. It is a modular, striker-fired 9mm pistol offered in five models: the P385-COMPACT, P385-CARRY, P385-FULL, P385-COMP and P385-MACH3D. The COMPACT model has a 4-inch barrel and a 15-round flush magazine, plus one round in the chamber. The grip is a configurable module. According to the reports, the trigger-block safety is the first of its kind from SIG. The pistol comes in black or coyote brown. SIG plans state-compliant versions, with availability planned for fall or early winter 2026.
Price: one outlet has reported a starting price of around $599. SIG has not confirmed that figure, so it is estimated, not confirmed.
Caracal USA CMP9 and CMP9K
Caracal USA plans to release the CMP9 and CMP9K in late 2026. Both are 9mm NATO pistols. The CMP9 has a 9-inch barrel and the CMP9K has a 6-inch barrel. Both accept 30-round MP5-type magazines and have threaded barrels, 1/2x28. No price has been found for either model.
Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0 Metal HD and Competitor HD
Smith & Wesson announced two steel-framed 9mm pistols on January 15, 2026. The M&P9 M2.0 Metal HD has a list price of $1,149. The Competitor HD has a list price of $1,299.

Military Armament Corporation MAC RA-9 series
Military Armament Corporation announced the RA-9 series on August 31, 2026. The series is described as a polymer-frame, striker-fired 9mm pistol with a serialized fire-control chassis. The list prices are $439.99 for the standard RA-9, $549.99 for the RA-9S and $699.99 for the RA-9 Sport.
Langdon Tactical Technology LTT Steyr ATD
Langdon Tactical Technology (LTT) reported on October 2, 2026 on its Steyr ATD pistol. It is a Steyr double-action and single-action pistol with custom work. No published price has been found for it, and this guide does not give one.
Glock Gen6 COA models
Glock Gen6 COA models, fitted with the Aimpoint COA red dot optic, were reported on April 24, 2026. The same report covered new 15-round magazines for the G43X and G44. No price has been published for the COA models in the reports available.
Rifles
Springfield Armory Model 2020 Waypoint
On September 1, 2026, guns.com reported on the Model 2020 Waypoint with SG-100 Cerakote finish. The Waypoint is a bolt-action precision rifle line. The list price of $1,995 applies to the three new Waypoint models, which are offered in all calibers.

Choosing between these models
Start with the job the rifle or pistol has to do. Buyers usually compare caliber, frame material, barrel length, magazine capacity and optics fit. Compare the details the makers publish. Caliber, barrel length, magazine capacity and frame material appear in the catalog entries when the maker has released them. If a detail is missing from a listing, treat it as unknown rather than assumed.
State laws and how firearms ship
Check your state and local laws before you buy. Some models have state-compliant versions planned, such as the SIG P385 family, and the reports do not say which states those versions are for.
Firearms ship to a local FFL dealer. At that dealer you complete Form 4473 and a background check before you take possession. Your local dealer can explain any other paperwork that applies in your area.
